The Video Production and Television Broadcast program will give you the chance to bring your ideas to life and tell exciting stories through the lens of a camera.

This hands-on program prepares you to succeed in a college video production program or a career in this growing field by offering experience with the fundamental and advanced aspects of video production, using Avid-based, industry-standard equipment in our on-site full-scale television and video production studio.

The Commercial Photography program offers you the perfect opportunity to develop your style in a highly creative environment while exploring cutting-edge photography equipment, software, technology, and techniques. This exciting, hands-on program will equip you with the skills needed to succeed in college photography programs or a career in the field.

If you want a rewarding career in a high-energy profession that challenges you daily, feeds your passion for food, and allows you to explore your creative side, the Culinary Arts program is for you! In this nontraditional classroom offering the ultimate hands-on experience, you will learn the essential foundations of professional cooking.

The Cybersecurity Program is taught in a rigorous classroom environment. This program will immerse you in the knowledge and skills required to install and configure systems; to secure applications, networks, and devices; perform threat analysis and respond with appropriate mitigation techniques; participate in risk mitigation activities; and to operate with an awareness of applicable policies, laws, and regulations. Qualified students at the end of the term will sit for the CompTIA Security+ exam.

If you are interested in founding your own successful and innovative business, the entrepreneurship program will guide you through properly strategizing a plan and will assist you in seeking funding for your venture. Not sure if you want to go into business for yourself? Use this course to generate ideas to be able to manage a startup, non-profit, and to prepare for the corporate world. This course will take you from the ideation process to exploration of financial, legal, and marketing, all while developing a personal business plan for an opportunity to pitch to local investors for start-up money and other resources.

Exercise Physiology is the study of the body’s response and ability to adapt to physical activity and is a subfield of exercise science, that focuses on how physical activity can improve health and wellness. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, between now and 2026, the number of jobs available for Exercise Physiologists is projected to increase at more than double the national rate. Fitness trainers and instructors who use the skills learned in the program are in high demand as well, with a projected increase of 10 percent forecast for the same time period, so right now is a fantastic time to prepare for a career in exercise physiology.

This in-depth program will provide a hands-on introduction to cutting edge digital tools and communication techniques, giving you new ways to explore and express your creativity in an ever-increasing digital world!  You will learn the foundational knowledge and skills required in graphic design and apply those principles to print and digital media. In our dedicated design studio, you will use industry-standard Adobe Creative Suite software on a daily basis to achieve effectively designed products. You will gain experience with the following Adobe programs: Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

Students will learn how to establish, maintain, and manage horticultural enterprises. The class environment is hands-on and includes classroom and laboratory activities, as well as supervised agricultural experiences in the Grayson Tech greenhouse. A career in horticulture and forest science offers a variety of job opportunities in the fields of education, research, golf and sports turf, landscape design, parks and gardens, public service, production management, and sales and marketing. Students will also participate in FFA student organization activities, which help develop skills like public speaking, teamwork, and leadership. This course embeds a fourth science requirement for graduation and Board of Regents admission requirements for college.

If you are an inquisitive student interested in understanding the causes, prevention, and prosecution of crime, the Criminal Justice & Law Enforcement program is the perfect opportunity to explore this important field. Through hands-on experience, you will learn about the foundations of law and take your first step towards a fulfilling career in serving and protecting the public.

If you are a creative student that enjoys performing musically and wants to gain additional skills using professional music software and technology, you will find the Music Industry program to be highly rewarding as you sharpen your craft.  Informal class discussions and lectures let you spend a great amount of time working on music projects at an individual professional workstation.

This Networking and Cloud Computing program is ideal for students with a genuine passion for the computer industry. Students will be exposed to various aspects of network hardware and software maintenance and monitoring, configuring, and supporting a local area network (LAN) and a wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems.

Are you interested in a career as a Physician, Certified Athletic Trainer, Physical Therapist, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Sports Nutritionist, or Sports Psychologist just to name a few professions under the Sports Medicine umbrella?  Grayson Tech Sports Medicine pathway offers high school students a unique opportunity to receive valuable educational experience in the classroom, hands-on learning, and the opportunity to work side by side with Sports Medicine professionals during internships.

For students with a sincere love for the care and medical treatment of animals, the Veterinary Science program will allow you to explore turning your passion for animals into a lifelong career.  Students will study the history and evolution of various species, learn about breeds, anatomy, physiology, reproduction, digestion and nutrition, health and behavior management, animal housing and much more.
