If you are an inquisitive student interested in understanding the causes, prevention, and prosecution of crime, the Criminal Justice & Law Enforcement program is the perfect opportunity to explore this important field.

Through hands-on experience, you will learn about the foundations of law and take your first step towards a fulfilling career in serving and protecting the public.

Every day you will explore the latest industry tools and techniques used in Law Enforcement such as radar guns, police scanners, DUI field sobriety tests, fingerprinting, handcuffing, and evidence gathering. You will also learn how to effectively document your findings in police and accident reports.

Your study of Criminal Justice will cover the role and structure of the government, the rights and responsibilities of citizens and police, the criminal justice system, courts and corrections, and civil/criminal law. The role of public safety groups such as EMS and Fire Service will be covered, as well as private security and protection services.

This course may be your path to a police academy, a college Criminal Justice program, or even a career as a lawyer. In addition to a solid understanding of Criminal Justice & Law Enforcement, you will leave this program with improved leadership and teamwork skills.
